Anna is so good at what she does, if you want the perfect wedding dress she will make it for you! I tried to find my dream dress for about 8 months, then after meeting with Anna for 1 hour I knew I had to book her to make my dress. She took all my ideas and turned them into my dream dress better than I ever imagined. I think having an amazing wedding dress is a must on your wedding day and if you book Anna you will not be dissapointed. tell her what you like and then trust her to do the rest. I was 100% happy wih my dress, she made the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable! Thank-you so much Anna you are a super star!

I am a petite woman and struggle to find clothes that fit my frame and are flattering. And unfortunately, most standard designed wedding dresses don t suit small women. I didn t want to feel like I disappeared in a dress and was thrilled to find Anna Schimmel s stunning dresses. Working with one of her classic designs, Anna created a bespoke dress perfect for my frame and curves, we added a few details too like a slit so I could move around better (I m not one to sit still look pretty !) And most importantly, on my wedding day, the dress felt amazing on and I felt amazing wearing it. I can t thank Anna enough for creating my dream dress for my dream wedding!

Anna Schimmel created my dream dress! The dress I had always imagined and the one thing I had a clear(ish) vision for when it came to my wedding. Anna is lovely, attentive, a complete perfectionist and a master at what she does her wedding dresses are artworks and I absolutely appreciate that. I had numerous fittings all with Anna herself, the result was a dress that fit me perfectly and was incredibly light and comfortable considering what was involved. Anna was the first wedding dress designer I visited, and I really didn t need to see anyone else. My dress was a highlight of the wedding planning process for me and was one of the most commented on elements of the day. Even when the rain poured at the very end of our photo-shoot and the dress got drenched it was magical. The dress will forever trigger memories of the day and is now dry-cleaned (Anna recommend where) and safely boxed away.

I was in the very fortunate position to have my very own, very exquisite lace and bead fabric all the way from Saudi Arabia. However, I found myself in a bit of a pickle when I was trying to find a designer, just to be informed that its probably best to be looking for a dressmaker. This minor detail sent me back to the drawing board and my research lead me to knocking on four different doors around Auckland. The encounters I experienced were fascinating to say the least. Some were too scared to even look at the fabric, let alone touch it and others just wanted to cut it all up! But the day I met Anna Schimmel is one I will always remember she was the first person to embrace my fabric and looked like she fell in love with it the same way I did the first time I saw it! She unwrapped it out of the soft wrapping paper and swooped it up, where the beads and lace just fell into position. We brainstormed for a bit and she presented me with the most perfect sketch I could possibly imagine. As I left her house, absolutely stunned by my experienced, I knew my fabric was in the best possible hands and that I had found my dressmaker . The word dressmaker is much understated and does not do Anna and her team any justice. They are incredible and really do focus on every single little detail, which again and again just set my mind at ease knowing I d made the right decision. THANK YOU Anna and your team, for creating my dream wedding dress and making me feel like the most amazing bride ever!

As soon as I tried on the dress at Annas I fell in love with everything about it! The fabric she sources is just heavenly, comfortable and luxe, and fell in all the right places to suit me. I had a couple things I asked about tweaking and she made it better than I imagined! And then even when lockdown happened, Anna was incredibly accommodating and we managed to do a contactless pick up right on time before the big day. So glad I visited you Anna and had so many compliments on the day! Even better, I get to wear it again on our celebration next year once things open up. Very thankful I got to work with you and would recommend going here first, no need to look elsewhere!! Worth every cent :)

Anna is a true master of her craft. From the very moment I stepped into her studio, she was kind, gentle, and professional. Always advising but never pushy. She had a big task on her hands as I hadnt a clue what I wanted! But through her guidance and experience, we designed a beautiful gown. I stepped into her studio 3 years ago as we were meant to get married back in 2020. Due to numerous incidents, we had to postpone and finally got married in Sept 2023 in Portugal. This dress has traveled the world with me and had been sitting in a wardrobe in my parents house for the last 2 years! Her dresses are so timeless and classic that I never once thought of reselling and changing it for something else because it wasnt on trend. And with the added bonus of knowing that some of the proceeds from the sale of the dress go towards educating a young girl in Togo was really the icing on the cake for me. Thank you so much, Anna. Choosing a dress for your wedding day is usually the culmination of years of dreaming about it, so when the time comes, it can be a somewhat daunting experience! However when it came to my turn, I knew the minute I stepped into Annas beautiful show room that this was the place for me. I was surrounded by beautiful materials and laces, elegant dresses, and a designer who worked with me to take my scattering of ideas and turn it into my dream dress. Anna is a wonderful mix of a complete perfectionist, and yet eternally cool, calm and collected the whole time. I live overseas and so gave her a week in which to finish the dress, yet she and her team never showed any stress or panic. It was actually wonderful to have the sessions with Anna to look forward to as a bit of sanctury from the madness that is a run up to the wedding!! During the process, when I couldnt picture some of the small tweaks we made, I had such faith and trust in Anna and her understanding of what I wanted, I generally just agreed - surely the biggest compliment! The dress itself was perfection, to this day people are still talking about how beautiful it was. I will never forget my new husbands face as I came down the aisle - something I will treasure forever... I would recommend Anna Schimmel to anyone who is wanting a dress that is timelessly elegant, feminine and beautiful. You wont regret it!!

I was fortunate enough to have a personalised couture dress designed and made my Anna she knew what I wanted. In a 30 min discussion we had a sketch and had chosen beautiful lace and satin. The dress was absolutely perfect, elegant and timeless and was highly complemented throughout the day. Thank you Anna for the beautiful dress. Even the little girl s kept coming and saying how beautiful the dress was and wanting to touch the lace. Annas creations are all beautiful and she is amazing at what she does making the process easy, stress free, fun and ensuring you have a dress you love. I am writing on behalf of my sister..... I highly recommend Anna Schimmel. Anna creates beautiful dresses - very elegant with that certain glamorous something. I felt like the dresses are created to emphasize a brides personality instead of stealing the show. I only spent four weeks in NZ, so I wanted to find a dress among those of the ready-to-wear-collection. I am no model and was totally overwhelmed, how good the dresses looked on me and how they fitted perfectly! Still, it wasnt hard to pick one, as Anna creates a very nice and relaxed atmosphere - the ideal condition for the magical moment, when I knew which among the wonderful dresses would be mine.
